The SurgeX SX-DC-8-1224-120, part of the innovative SQUID Series, redefines power management by combining AC and DC surge protection, USB charging, and IP-based control into one compact, professional-grade chassis. No more stacking multiple boxes this single device powers and protects everything.

With 4 controlled AC outlets, 3 DC output banks, and 2 USB charging ports, it’s purpose-built for tight AV environments like huddle spaces, flex rooms, and conference tables. Remote management via Ethernet enables power cycling, monitoring, scheduling, and secure control using SNMP v3, HTTPS, TLS, 802.1x, and more.

The SQUID measures voltage, current, frequency, power factor, and stores power quality logs with 30-day internal memory. SurgeX's Advanced Series Mode® protection ensures non-sacrificial, zero let-through protection against surges up to 6,000 volts without degrading or contaminating the system ground.
