The Strong SM-CB-ART1-M Carbon Series is a single-arm articulating wall mount for 24–55" TVs weighing up to 100 lb. It is designed for rooms where you want more flexibility than a fixed or tilt-only mount, including the ability to pull the screen away from the wall, swivel it toward different seating positions, adjust tilt for glare control, and fine-tune the screen level after installation.

Who Should Choose This Mount?

Choose the SM-CB-ART1-M if your compatible TV needs to extend away from the wall or turn toward different viewing positions. The articulating arm also makes it easier to reach HDMI, power, network, and other rear connections after installation.

TV and VESA Compatibility

The 24–55" screen-size range is only one part of compatibility. Your TV must also weigh no more than 100 lb and use a supported mounting-hole pattern.

Strong currently lists support for 75 × 75, 100 × 100, 100 × 200, 200 × 100, 200 × 200, 200 × 300, 200 × 400, 300 × 300, and 400 × 400 mm VESA patterns.

For larger patterns, the included X-pattern adapter brackets are used to expand the mounting interface. Confirm the exact VESA specification in your TV manual before ordering.

Installation and Wall Requirements

The wall or mounting surface must support the combined weight of the mount and TV. Strong provides installation instructions for appropriate wood-stud and concrete mounting conditions.

For wood-stud installations, the manual specifies studs of at least 2" × 4" with no more than 3/8" drywall covering them. For concrete installations, the manufacturer provides separate requirements for concrete density, anchor placement, and drilling.

Do not mount the assembly to drywall alone. Strong also specifies a minimum of two people for attaching and positioning the display.

Cable Management and Access

Three installed cable clips help route power and signal cables along the articulating arm. Leave enough slack for the TV to move through its intended swivel, extension, and tilt range without pulling or pinching the cables.
