The Sonos INCL8WW1 In-Ceiling Speakers by Sonance are a pair of passive 8" architectural speakers designed for living rooms, kitchens, open-plan spaces, and whole-home audio zones where you want strong output without visible speaker cabinets.

Each speaker combines an 8" polypropylene woofer with a 1.2" tweeter and wide 100° coverage. Pair them with Sonos Amp to unlock custom Sonos DSP, Trueplay room tuning, app control, and multi-room audio.

Who Should Choose the 8-Inch Version?

Choose the 8" model when you want more low-frequency extension, higher maximum output, and wider coverage than the smaller 6" Sonos Architectural in-ceiling speaker.

It is a strong fit for larger living rooms, open kitchens, great rooms, and other spaces where fewer speakers may need to cover a wider listening area.

Optimized for Sonos Amp

These are passive speakers and require an amplifier. Sonos Amp is the intended pairing because it can recognize compatible Sonos Architectural speakers and apply custom DSP for a more even frequency response and stable system performance.

When powered by Sonos Amp, the speakers can also use Trueplay room tuning through the Sonos app with a supported iOS device.

8-Inch Woofer and 1.2-Inch Tweeter

Each speaker uses one 8" polypropylene low-frequency driver and one 1.2" high-frequency driver. Sonos publishes a DSP-optimized frequency response of 29 Hz–20 kHz ±3 dB.

Wide 100-Degree Coverage
