The Sonos Era 100 Pro Surface Mount is sold as a pair and provides a secure way to install Era 100 Pro speakers on walls, ceilings, and other suitable surfaces. Its indexed ball-joint design supports repeatable adjustment while keeping the speaker locked in position.

Who Should Choose This Mount?

Choose the Era 100 Pro Surface Mount when you want Era 100 Pro speakers permanently positioned on a wall or ceiling instead of sitting on furniture or shelving.

It is useful for living spaces, kitchens, offices, media rooms, retail environments, hospitality spaces, and larger Sonos audio zones where consistent speaker placement and clean cable routing matter.

360-Degree Rotation and ±30-Degree Adjustment

The indexed ball joint allows the speaker to rotate through 360° and provides approximately ±30° of pan and tilt. Once positioned, the collar locks the mount in place to help maintain the selected aiming angle.

The indexed mechanism also makes it easier to reproduce similar speaker angles across multiple locations.

Wall and Ceiling Installation

Sonos supports Era 100 Pro installation on walls and ceilings in multiple orientations. The mount can be installed on appropriate surfaces including concrete, brick, masonry, and wood when suitable fasteners and installation methods are used.

A detachable stability hook provides additional support when Era 100 Pro is installed horizontally or on a ceiling.

Built-In Theft Deterrence

The mount includes an integrated theft-prevention locking mechanism. Once the mount slides into its bracket correctly, the locking mechanism engages to help discourage casual removal or tampering.

A small tool is required to release the theft-prevention mechanism when removal is necessary.

Clean Ethernet and PoE Cable Routing

The Surface Mount itself does not provide or require PoE power. When used with an Era 100 Pro speaker, its cable-management design helps route the Ethernet cable used for network connectivity and PoE/PoE+ power.

Junction Box Installation

The Surface Mount can also attach to a compatible electrical junction box when used with the optional Sonos Era 100 Pro Junction Box Adapter.

The Junction Box Adapter is sold separately and supports several common junction-box formats.

Era 100 Pro and Standard Era 100 Compatibility

The Surface Mount is designed primarily for Sonos Era 100 Pro, which includes the hook receptacle and optional safety-eyebolt provision intended for installed applications.

Sonos also allows the mount to be used with the standard Era 100, but with important limitations. The stability hook must be removed, and Sonos recommends standard Era 100 only in vertical orientation, not landscape or ceiling mounted. A safety tether also cannot be attached to the standard Era 100.
