Sonance VX82R 8" In-Ceiling Speaker Pair

The Sonance VX82R is a pair of 8-inch round in-ceiling speakers from the Visual Experience Series, designed for customers who want fuller built-in sound without adding visible speakers to the room. The larger 8-inch woofer makes the VX82R well suited for living rooms, kitchens, media spaces, and whole-home audio zones where balanced coverage and stronger low-frequency performance are important.

Each speaker uses an 8-inch textured polypropylene woofer with rubber surround and a 1.2-inch cloth-dome tweeter. The woofer and tweeter pivot together, allowing the sound to be aimed toward the main listening area after the speaker is installed. Sonance's Sinusoidal Textured Waveguide is designed to provide smooth, consistent coverage across the room.

The VX82R has a frequency response of 38Hz to 20kHz and a sensitivity of 90dB. Its impedance is 8 ohms nominal and 6 ohms minimum, with Sonance specifying RMS power handling from 5 watts minimum to 125 watts maximum.
