Sound is built around a 2-way driver system designed for both voice and music. The 6.5 inch polypropylene woofer brings body and warmth to background music, while the 1 inch silk tweeter improves speech intelligibility for paging, announcements, and sound masking style applications. With a 150° conical dispersion pattern, the PD6 spreads audio smoothly across the floor, which helps reduce hot spots and dead zones common in open-ceiling installs.

System design is flexible. The PD6 is a 70V commercial pendant speaker with transformer taps at 4W, 8W, 16W, and 32W, plus an 8 ohm bypass option. That means you can run it as part of a larger 70V distributed audio system, or integrate it into a low-impedance setup if that fits your plan. Power handling is rated at 30W RMS, 70W peak, with up to 101 dB max SPL, plenty for clear, present audio in most commercial environments.

Installation is one of the best parts of this package. The PD6 includes the hardware needed for a clean, professional hang: a rear cover with eyebolt access, eyebolt and nuts, and a mounting kit with two 10 ft steel cables, carabiners, fastlinks, and a wire retention plate. Wiring is secured via a 4-pin Euroblock screw terminal, a favorite in commercial installs because it is clean and reliable.

Color is not just cosmetic on pendant installs, it is part of the design. Choose Black for exposed, modern ceilings and darker fixtures, or choose White for bright, clean ceilings and minimal visual footprint.
