Manage Up to 16 IP Cameras from One Recorder
The LTS LTN8616D-P16N is a Platinum Plus 16-channel network video recorder with 16 built-in PoE ports, high-resolution recording, AI/VCA functions, smart search, and two internal SATA bays for local surveillance storage.
Camera and Recording Capacity
- Up to 16 IP camera inputs
- Supports recording resolutions up to 32MP
- Up to four 32MP or 24MP IP video inputs under supported configurations
- 160Mbps incoming bandwidth
- 256Mbps outgoing bandwidth
- H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264 compression
- 16-channel synchronous playback
16 Built-In PoE Ports
- 16 independent RJ45 10/100Mbps PoE interfaces
- IEEE 802.3af/at PoE support
- Maximum total PoE power budget: 200W
The built-in PoE ports can provide network connectivity and power to compatible PoE cameras without requiring a separate PoE switch. Camera power requirements should still be checked against the recorder's total 200W PoE budget.
Important 8K vs. 4K Clarification
LTS markets the LTN8616D-P16N as an 8K-series NVR and supports recording from cameras up to 32MP. However, the recorder's HDMI display output is limited to 4K at 30Hz. It should not be described as providing 8K HDMI output.
- HDMI: up to 3840 × 2160 at 30Hz
- 2K: up to 2560 × 1440 at 60Hz
- 1080p: up to 1920 × 1080 at 60Hz
- VGA: up to 1920 × 1080 at 60Hz
- Independent HDMI and VGA output
AI, VCA, and Smart Search
- Deep-learning-based intelligent analytics
- Up to 4-channel VCA by the NVR
- Human and vehicle recognition under supported VCA configurations
- Facial recognition support under supported configurations
- Smart search within selected areas of recorded video
- Smart playback
- POS information overlay and POS-triggered recording/alarm support
Available analytics depend on the connected camera, recorder configuration, firmware, and whether the function is processed by the NVR or camera.
