Human and vehicle classification helps filter supported events by target type. Detection performance still depends on camera placement, scene conditions, configuration, and the connected recording system.

A built-in microphone captures mono audio together with video. The camera does not include a built-in speaker, so it should not be described as providing two-way talk.

Yes. It uses Color 24/7 imaging with white supplemental illumination rated up to 98 feet. Available ambient light, mounting position, and scene conditions affect actual nighttime performance.

Does it detect people and vehicles?

Yes. Motion Detection 2.0 supports human and vehicle classification. Supported smart events also include line crossing, intrusion, region entrance, and region exiting detection.

Does it record audio?

Yes. A built-in microphone captures mono audio. The camera does not include a built-in speaker and should not be considered a two-way-audio camera.

Does it need an NVR?
