Who Should Choose the Ventura 6?

Choose the Ventura 6 if you want a substantial outdoor speaker pair for music around a patio, pool, deck, backyard, coastal home, or similar outdoor area. The 6.5" woofer provides more output and low-frequency capability than smaller outdoor models while keeping the enclosure reasonably compact.

If you only need light background audio in a small area, a smaller outdoor speaker may be sufficient. If you need very deep bass or high-output coverage across a large property, consider adding a compatible subwoofer or using a larger distributed outdoor-audio system.

Passive Speaker and Amplifier Requirements

The Ventura 6 is completely passive. It does not include a built-in amplifier, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, app control, streaming, or wireless audio reception.

KEF recommends 10–125 W of amplifier power and specifies a nominal impedance of 6 Ω. Use an amplifier or AV receiver that is comfortable driving a 6-ohm speaker load at your intended listening level.

Not a 70V or 100V Speaker

Outdoor and Coastal Durability
