The KEF Kube 10 MIE is a powered sealed 10" subwoofer for music, movies, gaming, and home theater systems where deeper low-frequency extension and stronger output are needed without moving to a very large enclosure.

It combines a front-firing 10" long-throw driver, 300W RMS Class D amplification, and KEF's Music Integrity Engine DSP to help maintain controlled bass across different listening levels and room positions.

Who Should Choose the Kube 10 MIE?

Choose the Kube 10 MIE when the Kube 8 MIE is too compact for your bass goals but you still want a relatively room-friendly sealed subwoofer. It is a strong option for living rooms, media rooms, stereo systems, gaming setups, and home theaters that benefit from deeper extension and higher output.

If you need even greater output or deeper extension, consider one of KEF's larger Kube models.

300W RMS Built-In Amplification

The Kube 10 MIE includes a 300W RMS Class D amplifier, so no separate power amplifier is required. Connect the subwoofer to your audio system and AC power, then configure level, crossover, and placement settings for your room.

The 300W figure is KEF's published RMS amplifier-output specification.

24 Hz Extension and 111 dB Output

KEF specifies a frequency response of 24 Hz–140 Hz at ±3 dB and a maximum output of 111 dB.

Actual bass response in your room will still depend on placement, room dimensions, seating position, crossover settings, and acoustics.

Music Integrity Engine and iBX

KEF's Music Integrity Engine uses proprietary DSP algorithms to coordinate the driver, amplifier, and enclosure.

iBX Intelligent Bass Extension dynamically adjusts low-frequency behavior to help maintain bass depth and control across different listening levels.

Flexible RCA and Speaker-Level Connections

The Kube 10 MIE provides RCA inputs for AV receivers, processors, preamps, and integrated amplifiers with compatible outputs.

It also includes speaker-level inputs, allowing integration with systems that do not provide a dedicated subwoofer pre-out.

KEF SmartConnect

KEF SmartConnect automatically detects whether one or two RCA cables are connected and adjusts gain accordingly, simplifying mono or stereo line-level integration without requiring a Y-adapter for a single RCA connection.

Optional KW1 Wireless Connection

The Kube 10 MIE does not include built-in wireless audio. Wireless subwoofer operation requires the optional KEF KW1 Wireless Subwoofer Adapter Kit, connected through the dedicated expansion port.

The subwoofer still requires AC power when the KW1 is used.

Three Placement EQ Presets

The Kube 10 MIE includes three room-position EQ settings to help compensate for different placements:
