1. Is this only for surround sound, or can I use it for music?
   It’s tuned for surround effects, but it can play music. For main left and right channels, a standard in-ceiling pair is usually a better choice.
   
2. Where should I place it in a surround setup?
   Most installs place them in the ceiling slightly behind the main seating for rear surrounds, or above and to the sides depending on your layout. Keep placement symmetrical when possible.
   
3. Will it work with my AV receiver?
   Yes. Wire it to your receiver’s surround outputs like any passive speaker, then run your receiver calibration to balance levels.
