The Episode ECA-70MIXAMP-1-60D is a single-channel 60W RMS Class D mixer amplifier for background music, announcements, and paging. It supports either a 70V distributed-speaker system or one conventional 4–16-ohm speaker load.

For 70V systems, add the selected transformer tap of every connected speaker. For example, four speakers tapped at 10W equal a 40W load. Keep the combined taps below the amplifier’s 60W rating. A practical design target is approximately 48W or less to preserve operating headroom.

The amplifier does not provide 100V output. Do not connect 70V and low-impedance speakers at the same time.

Inputs and Priority

• Four balanced microphone or line inputs

The priority order is EMC first, MIC 1 second, followed by MIC 2–4 and AUX 1–2. Higher-priority audio automatically lowers or mutes lower-priority sources when configured correctly.

Important Limitations

• Single-channel mono output, not stereo
• No Bluetooth on the 60W model
• No Wi-Fi, app control, Ethernet, PoE, DSP, or built-in streaming
• No HDMI, optical, USB, or digital-audio input
• No independent audio zones

A separate music source, streamer, microphone, controller, or audio converter is required when needed.

Is the ECA-70MIXAMP-1-60D sold individually?

Yes. The purchase includes one single-channel mixer amplifier. Speakers, microphones, audio sources, cables, and controls are sold separately.

Is this amplifier for 70V or regular speakers?

It supports either a 70V distributed-speaker system or one 4–16-ohm low-impedance load. Select the correct output mode before connecting speakers.

How many 70V speakers can it power?

Add the selected wattage tap of every speaker. The combined load must remain below 60W. Keeping the total around 48W or less provides approximately 20% operating headroom.

What transformer taps does the amplifier provide?

The amplifier does not provide speaker tap settings. The taps are selected on the connected 70V speakers. Common tap options vary by speaker model, so confirm each speaker before calculating the total load.

Does the 60W model include Bluetooth?

No. Bluetooth is available on the 120W and 240W versions, not the ECA-70MIXAMP-1-60D.

Can it play stereo audio?

No. It is a single-channel mono amplifier. Connected music sources are mixed into one mono speaker output.

Can microphones and music be used together?

Yes. It mixes microphone and AUX sources. The EMC input has highest priority, followed by MIC 1, then the remaining microphone and AUX inputs.

Does it provide phantom power?

Yes. Its microphone inputs support selectable 48V phantom power for compatible condenser microphones.

Does it support 100V speakers?

No. The manufacturer specifies 70V and 4–16-ohm output only.

Can it be installed outdoors?

No. Install it indoors in a dry, ventilated location. It may power compatible outdoor speakers when the amplifier remains protected indoors.
