Power and Tune Up to Four Stereo Audio Zones

The Episode EA-RSP-8D-100 is an 8-channel Class D DSP matrix amplifier for up to four stereo zones. It combines amplification, source routing, per-zone DSP, subwoofer outputs, IP control, and OvrC management in one rack-mounted component.

Bridge mode combines a stereo channel pair into one higher-powered mono output. Use an 8-ohm load when bridging.

This model uses analog RCA audio inputs. It does not include HDMI, optical, coaxial digital audio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or built-in music streaming.

Subwoofer Support

Each stereo zone includes a mono RCA line-level subwoofer output. The output combines left and right audio and uses a fixed 200 Hz low-pass filter.

A powered subwoofer or separate subwoofer amplifier is required. The subwoofer outputs cannot directly power passive subwoofers.

Speaker Compatibility

The EA-RSP-8D-100 is designed for conventional passive low-impedance speakers. The published output ratings are specified for 4-ohm and 8-ohm loads.

This is not a 70V or 100V amplifier. Choose a dedicated constant-voltage amplifier for 70V or 100V speaker systems.

Does it have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or built-in streaming?

No. Separate audio sources or streamers are required. Ethernet is used for configuration, IP control, and OvrC management.

Does it have optical or HDMI inputs?

No. The EA-RSP-8D-100 uses analog stereo RCA source inputs.

Can I connect subwoofers?

Yes. Each zone has a mono line-level subwoofer output. Use a powered subwoofer or separate subwoofer amplifier.

Does it support 70V or 100V speakers?

No. It is designed for conventional passive low-impedance speaker systems.

Can it power outdoor speakers?

Yes, when the speakers are compatible low-impedance passive models. The amplifier itself must remain indoors in a dry, ventilated location.
