Episode EA-RSP-2D-200 DSP Amplifier 2-Ch 200W IP Audio Control
Product Details
Power and Fine-Tune One High-Performance Speaker Zone
The Episode EA-RSP-2D-200 is a two-channel Class D amplifier designed to power one stereo passive-speaker zone or one higher-powered bridged mono speaker load. Built-in DSP provides detailed control over equalization, crossover settings, delay, volume, and speaker protection.
It is well suited for living rooms, media spaces, patios, offices, conference rooms, and other systems that need more power and adjustment than a basic stereo amplifier provides.
Amplifier Output
- 2 × 200W into 4 ohms at 1 kHz
- 2 × 100W into 8 ohms at 1 kHz
- 1 × 400W bridged into 8 ohms at 1 kHz
- Class D amplifier topology
- 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response
These are the manufacturer's published amplifier-output ratings. They should not be described as peak watts or automatically relabeled as RMS.
Best Uses
- One pair of high-output passive speakers
- In-wall or in-ceiling speaker systems
- Indoor amplifiers powering compatible outdoor speakers
- Stereo systems with a powered subwoofer
- One bridged mono speaker requiring additional power
Who Should Choose Another Amplifier
- Choose a multi-zone amplifier if several rooms need independent sources or volume control.
- Choose a 70V or 100V amplifier for constant-voltage distributed-speaker systems.
- Choose a streaming amplifier if you need built-in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, AirPlay, or music services.
- Choose an AV receiver if you need HDMI, ARC, surround decoding, or home-theater channels.
DSP and Control Features
- 10-band parametric equalizer
- High-pass and low-pass filters
- Tone controls and audio delay
- Output limiter and anti-clipping support
- Episode speaker and custom DSP presets
- Browser-based Ethernet configuration
- IP, IR, audio-sensing, and voltage-trigger control
- OvrC monitoring and remote management
The Ethernet connection is used for setup, monitoring, and control. It does not carry audio, provide PoE power, or add built-in streaming.
Inputs and Outputs
- One stereo RCA analog input
- One fixed-level stereo RCA loop output
- One mono RCA subwoofer output
- Five-way binding-post speaker outputs
- Ethernet, IR input/output, and trigger input/output
The amplifier does not include optical, coaxial digital, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or HDMI audio inputs. A separate DAC or source component is required when your source does not provide analog RCA output.
The subwoofer connection is line level and requires a powered subwoofer or separate subwoofer amplifier. It cannot directly power a passive subwoofer.
Speaker Compatibility
The amplifier is designed for conventional passive low-impedance speakers. Confirm speaker impedance, quantity, wiring arrangement, and power handling before connecting multiple speakers to one channel.
This model is not a 70V or 100V amplifier. It also cannot power active speakers through its speaker outputs.
What Is Included
- One EA-RSP-2D-200 amplifier
- IEC power cable
- Four feet
