The Episode EA-RSP-2D-200 is a two-channel Class D amplifier designed to power one stereo passive-speaker zone or one higher-powered bridged mono speaker load. Built-in DSP provides detailed control over equalization, crossover settings, delay, volume, and speaker protection.

It is well suited for living rooms, media spaces, patios, offices, conference rooms, and other systems that need more power and adjustment than a basic stereo amplifier provides.

The Ethernet connection is used for setup, monitoring, and control. It does not carry audio, provide PoE power, or add built-in streaming.

The subwoofer connection is line level and requires a powered subwoofer or separate subwoofer amplifier. It cannot directly power a passive subwoofer.

Speaker Compatibility

The amplifier is designed for conventional passive low-impedance speakers. Confirm speaker impedance, quantity, wiring arrangement, and power handling before connecting multiple speakers to one channel.

This model is not a 70V or 100V amplifier. It also cannot power active speakers through its speaker outputs.

Installation

The amplifier uses fanless passive cooling and fits one rack unit using the included rack ears. Install it indoors in a dry, ventilated location. It is not weather resistant and should not be exposed to moisture, rain, sprinklers, or condensation.

Is the Episode EA-RSP-2D-200 sold individually?

Yes. It includes one two-channel amplifier. Speakers, source equipment, cables, controllers, and subwoofer equipment are sold separately.

It is rated at 200W × 2 into 4 ohms, 100W × 2 into 8 ohms, or 400W bridged into one 8-ohm load, all measured at 1 kHz.

Is this a multi-zone amplifier?

No. It powers one stereo zone or one bridged mono load. The larger Episode Response amplifiers provide multi-zone matrix switching.

Does it support Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or streaming?

No. Ethernet is used for configuration, IP control, and OvrC monitoring. A separate streamer or audio source is required.

Does it have optical or HDMI inputs?

No. It has one stereo analog RCA input. A separate digital-to-analog converter is required for optical or coaxial digital sources.

Does it support 70V or 100V speakers?

No. It is designed for conventional low-impedance passive speakers, not constant-voltage speaker systems.

Can I connect a subwoofer?

Yes. It includes a mono line-level subwoofer output. Use a powered subwoofer or separate subwoofer amplifier.

Can it be installed outdoors?

No. The amplifier must remain indoors in a dry, ventilated location. It can power compatible outdoor speakers when the amplifier stays protected indoors.

How is volume controlled?

Volume can be managed through the browser interface, IP commands, IR control, the connected source, or a compatible control system. It does not have a conventional front-panel volume knob.
