Important Power-Rating Clarification

Episode specifies up to 160W RMS per channel for this model and also uses MaxShare technology, which allows paired channels to share available power. Do not assume that eight channels can simultaneously produce 160W each under every load condition. System design should account for the power requirements across each paired set of channels.

How do I calculate a 70V speaker load?

Add the transformer tap setting of every speaker connected to that channel. Keep the combined speaker load below the available amplifier power and leave headroom for reliable operation.

Does it have built-in DSP?

Yes. DSP functions include 10-band parametric EQ, shelf filters, crossover control, compression, speaker presets, delay, priority input settings, and mono summing.

Can different inputs be routed to different outputs?

Yes. The amplifier supports fully matrixed routing, allowing connected sources to be assigned to different output channels.

Does it have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or streaming?

No. Bluetooth and music streaming are not built in. A separate audio source or streamer is required.

Does it support OvrC and IP control?

Does it work with the EA-COM-WP-ZONE wall controller?
