1. Is this for 8 ohm speakers, 4 ohm speakers, or both?
   It’s designed for demanding low-impedance loads. It can drive 8 ohm and 4 ohm speakers, as long as wiring and speaker load stay within the amplifier’s rated specs.
   
2. Can I use it for one powerful zone, like a big patio or great room?
   Yes. It’s a great fit when you want higher volume without strain, better clarity at loud levels, and more headroom for peaks.
   
3. Do I need a preamp or receiver with pre-outs?
   Usually yes. Most installs feed it from an AVR or preamp using line-level outputs (pre-outs) so the amp handles power while your receiver handles sources and volume.
