The Araknis AN-520-RT is a dual-WAN multi-gigabit VPN router designed for homes and businesses that need fast routing, ISP redundancy, secure site-to-site connectivity, VLAN support, and remote network management.

This is a wired router and does not include built-in Wi-Fi. Add compatible wireless access points when Wi-Fi coverage is required.

The RJ45/SFP combo interface is one logical port with two connection options. The RJ45 and SFP connections are not separate simultaneous network ports.

No Built-In Wi-Fi or PoE Switching

The AN-520-RT is a dedicated wired router. It does not provide Wi-Fi and does not provide a bank of PoE camera or access-point ports.

For larger networks, pair it with a compatible network switch and Araknis access points based on the number of wired devices, required PoE budget, and Wi-Fi coverage area.

When to Choose Another Router

Choose a simpler router if you only need one internet connection and basic Gigabit routing. Choose the AN-520-RT when you specifically need dual-WAN redundancy, multi-gig WAN/LAN connectivity, high-performance IPSec VPN, VLAN routing, or OvrC Pro network management.

Does the AN-520-RT have built-in Wi-Fi?

No. It is a wired router. Wireless access points are required if you need Wi-Fi coverage.

Araknis specifies a maximum of 2048 DHCP clients. Practical network capacity depends on traffic levels, connected devices, and system design.
