The Episode ES-500T-SNDBR-40-BLK is a passive 3-channel LCR soundbar designed for 46 to 52-inch TVs. It combines independent left, center, and right speaker channels in a slim aluminum cabinet only 1.83 inches deep.

What You Need

This is a passive soundbar and requires three amplified channels from an AV receiver or compatible amplifier. The left, center, and right channels each require their own speaker-wire connection.

It does not include HDMI ARC, eARC, optical audio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, streaming, or built-in amplification.

Episode specifies 100W RMS power handling and 250W peak power handling. The 250W figure is not continuous power.

Does it need three speaker-wire connections?

Yes. The left, center, and right channels are independent and require three separate speaker-wire runs from the receiver or amplifier.

Does it include a subwoofer?

No. A powered subwoofer is sold separately and is recommended when deeper bass below the soundbar's 110 Hz response is desired.

Does mounting hardware come with it?

Yes. Episode includes a low-profile wall bracket and kickstands for shelf or cabinet placement. A bracket that attaches the soundbar directly to a compatible TV mount is sold separately.
